Will founded W.Bradford in 2017 with a specific thesis: that the most serious B2B manufacturers, especially in commercial and architectural lighting, were building remarkable products and telling almost no one about them. He walked into a market that was technically sophisticated and strategically adolescent. Nine years in, W.Bradford represents the most experienced brand and marketing practice in lighting, plus a growing roster of clients across the broader built environment. The agency operates as AMBI in those built-environment contexts.
He grew up in Harlan, Kentucky. A small Appalachian town teaches you early that resources are finite and perception is everything. You learn to read a room with stakes. You learn that taste is not decorative, it is a survival instrument. The career that brought him to W.Bradford ran through the Indiana Dental Association in Indianapolis, TrendyMinds in Indianapolis (where his Horizon Hobby work earned mentions on the TODAY Show and in WIRED), and Max Borges Agency in Miami, where he led the Brand Experience practice across consumer-tech accounts including Big Ass Fans, V-MODA, SteelSeries, and SORAA.
He was named to the Cincinnati Business Courier’s 40 Under 40 list in 2025. He keeps a pair of miniature schnauzers, Zeta and Cooper, who sit through more strategy calls than most consultants.
