His father’s camera
The mind is not a vessel that needs filling, but wood that needs igniting.
Chris is the worldbuilder. He directs creative services across W.Bradford and AMBI, which in practice means he treats a shoot, a campaign, and a brand identity as one continuous environment. First frame to last, and every cut between, the world has to hold.
His training is unusually layered. Two years in Los Angeles, days at Art Center College of Design studying illustration and nights at Brainstorm School, then back to Xavier University for a double degree, a BSBA in Marketing and a BA in Art. He came up at W.Bradford as a junior designer in 2021 and now runs creative services across both brands.
He studies the masters, the American grit of Bellows and the chrome futures of Syd Mead. The eye stays sharp because he keeps using it. He oil paints, he is illustrating a children’s book, and he is a serious birdwatcher, which is more useful credentialing than it sounds. You learn to read a whole place at once, the song before the silhouette, the movement before the color. The discipline is the same one that makes a great art director: the patience to listen, the eye to recognize the moment that matters, the restraint to hold fast until it arrives.
That depth shows up in the work. When a client says a campaign just feels different, Chris is usually the reason.
